
NHS England and its organisational counterparts were required to improve transparency of data within the scope of GP Connect, how health care settings use patient data in direct care.
They key to this project was developing multiple portals. The first portal facilitated health care settings to sign up to a data sharing agreement. The second was to allow consumers to look up their healthcare providers and understand better how their data was being used. Lastly, a third portal to internally administer the other portals.
