Project Aim

To make a transitional shift from a legacy platform to a modern service orientated architecture is no mean feat, and CNG are doing just that.

As part of an agile software team, a new solution is being developed and rolled out which will allow CNG to replace their existing legacy systems for tracking gas metering assets.

The solution broadly encompasses a service queue which takes data files from the industry, validates and processes them, then pushes them out to relevant industry stakeholders, who need to keep their central data records up-to-date.

Similarly, CNG are also able to keep their own asset data records accurate virtually in real time for the benefit of their own commercial customers.
